Jusco celebrated their 25th anniversary. One day we adopted their lovely moo to our home. Somehow, we named her “Lou Ah Po” (old grandma in cantonese).

After several weeks laying on the bed doing nothing, Lou Ah Po decided to do some morning exercise. She stretched her arms and feet, err, like this:

and in the end Lou Ah Po was exhausted. Laying down again.

The end for the morning exercise. But wait, she didnt dig her nose! So I had no choice to help her with this.

Watchmen is a 2009 American superhero film directed by Zack Snyder. Based on the 1986-1987 comic book limited series Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, the film adaptation stars Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Malin Åkerman, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Matthew Goode, Stephen McHattie, Matt Frewer, and Carla Gugino. Set in 1985, Watchmen follows a group of former vigilantes as tensions heighten between the United States and the Soviet Union while an investigation of an apparent conspiracy against them uncovers something even more grandiose and sinister.

However, today I am not going to say anything about the movie, but drilled down to the characters in the movie. Bear in mind that this is a personal opinion & I did not read the comic before. *SPOILER BELOW*

The Comedian (Edward Morgan Blake aka Eddie Blake) Played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Eddie Blake (The Comedian) is the one of the only masked adventurers (along with Captain Metropolis) to be a member of both the Minutemen and the Crimebusters, and had been active for forty-five years through the aide of government-sponsored activities and the press conjuring him to be a patriotic symbol of war and victory. He is a cigar-chomping, gun-toting vigilante-turned-paramilitary agent. He has shown himself to be a nihilist with little regard for morality or human life. He describes the world as a sadistic joke only he understands.

Nite Owl (Dan Dreiberg) Played by Patrick Wilson

Daniel Dreiberg relied more upon technical wizardry and tools than toughness, which set him apart from his fellow costumed adventurers. Still, he has demonstrated more than adequate skills when defending himself. All of his gadgets and costumes are based on an owl theme. He uses an owl-shaped flying vehicle nicknamed the “Owlship” or “Archie” (Archimedes), equipped with a variety of offensive and defensive devices. In fact he bears certain similarities in appearance to Batman.

Ozymandias (Adrian Veidt) Played by Matthew Goode

Adrian Veidt Named Ozymandias in the manner of Ramesses II, is a member of the Crimebusters. His name recalls the famous poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley, which takes as its theme the fleeting nature of empire.

Silk Spectre II (Laurel Jane Juspeczyk aka Laurie Juspeczyk) Played by Malin Akerman

Laurie Juspeczyk, was the second character in Watchmen to be known as the Silk Spectre. She was the daughter of Sally Jupiter, the original Silk Spectre. During the events of Watchmen, Laurie serves as the series’ main female protagonist.

Rorschach (Walter Kovacs) Played by Jackie Earle Haley

Rorschach Wears the inkblot mask he considers his true face, Rorschach had been one of the members of the Watchmen, but has continued his one-man battle against crime long after costumed vigilantes became both detested and illegal. Rorschach’s actions and journal writings display a belief in moral absolutism and objectivism, where good and evil are clearly defined and evil must be violently punished. He has alienated himself from the rest of society to achieve these aims. Politically, he is an anti-communist, anti-liberal, reactionary, and strong nationalist.

Doctor Manhattan (Jonathan Osterman) Played by Billy Crudup

Due to an accident involving a nuclear physics experiment, Dr Manhattan was taken outside the physical realm and returned with god-like powers, including superhuman strength, telekinesis, the ability to teleport himself or others over planetary, and interplanetary distances, control over matter at a subatomic level, and near total clairvoyance.

While his military backers market him as a superhero, Dr Manhattan grows increasingly disinterested in human affairs, despite his importance in the Cold War, and is unable to connect with others, especially his love interest Laurie, the second Silk Spectre.

Among all six main characters in Watchmen, I had analysed their abilities and hereby put into a chart. *SPOLER BELOW*

Power
Dr Manhattan > Veidt > Comedian > Dan > Rorschach > Laurie

No doubt, Dr Manhattan stands at the first place with his telekinesis, reconstruct, disintegrate abilities. In fact, he is the only character in Watchmen to possess superhuman abilities.

Veidt, killed Comedian with brutal force, defeat both Dan & Rorschach without any injuries. Not to mentaion, able to mentally calculate physical reaction times, anticipate the pull of a trigger, and reflexively catch a bullet. Deemed as the “smartest man on the planet”. What else do you expect? 2nd place.

Comedian, despite aging, he is physically fit & skilled in hand-to-hand combat, expert in all weaponary. Well, at least his fight against Veidt lasted at least 10 minutes. 3rd place.

Dan, more as a mechanic than a fighter. He is expert in high-tech gadgets & tools. Posses a night vision goggle, a flying machine (Archie) & a series of beam gun. Btw, owl isnt cool. 4th place.

Rorschach, very interesting character. He is overwhelmingly strong, ruthless & unpredictable, uses anything in the surrounding as a weapon. Posses a shooting grappling hook to move around high rise building while doing his self-declared investigation. 5th place.

Laurie. I have no idea what is she capable of. 6th place.

If I am one of the character in Watchmen, I will be….
Rorscahach > Veidt > Dan > Dr Manhattan > Comedian > Laurie

Rorscahach, I love this character. His characteristic is very entertaining. Stinks? Go and bath!

Veidt, Smartest man on the planet. Why not? I can have better earning than blogging here.

Dan, I love gadgets but not owl please.

Dr Manhattan, POWER! LUST OF POWER!!!! However, I want to be normal too. Emotionless, immortal are the greatest pain!

Comedian, House of weaponary! But not cigar, not raping.

Laurie, sorry I’m a guy.

I went to their Main Branch @ Brickfield KL to send some parcel. However, I do not have a proper box for delivery. So, I went up to the counter and ask whether they sell any boxes. Funny thing is they ask me go to Pos Office to buy. :/

So meaning I have to go pos office and buy a box and come back to posLaju to deliver my parcel. Ridiculous.

Rich Dad Poor Dad

Few years back, I read this book by Robert T. Kiyosaki

While I was doing spring cleaning, it dropped out from the shelf. Some of the question inside are argueable. Some of undoubtful argreeable.

I totally agreed with what Robert Kiyosaki’s concept on “Key to Financial Freedom” – convert earned income into passive income and/or portfolio income.

In the book, there are three different types of income.
1. Earned Income
2. Passive Income
3. Portfolio Income

Earned income – get Pay for what you work for.
Passive Income – Investment payoff.
Portfolio Income – Paper assets. Stocks, bonds or mutual funds.

Some people say “Go to school, get good grades, and find a safe secure job.”
Some people will say “Let the money work for you”
Both are ways to earn money, but from different perspective. However, solely depends on earned income will get highest tax compare to the other two income sources.

My Personal conclusion is – Learn how to use money. Not how to earn money.
With your earned income, learn how to divert your income to passive or portfolio income.

Is that all?

Well, it is more than a place of worship. Mosque is also a center for information, education, and dispute settlement.

2 years back ago, i went for my cousin brother’s wedding….somewhere near to jln. duta or jln. ipoh (i can’t remembered) hehehe…as far as i know, it is the federal mosque!

Well is my 1st time in to� mosque. Kinda of excited, coz I’ve never been to mosque. I was wondering

• ‘how’s the inner part of� mosque looks like?’
• ‘how big is the mosque?’,
• ‘what can see in the mosque?’
• ‘how’s the interior design?’

Hmm…all sort of questions came out and these is what i saw…

so…what do you all think? beautiful?

well, i dare not agree this is the most beautiful mosque, but to me it is beautiful and unique!
