Our 1st Anniversary

Sharon

This is our 1st anniversary. We celebrated in a simplest way. Whereby we had a little activity together; we cooked dinner! Hehehe, William suggested this idea and I kinda like it. I think is fun, doing things together…like COOKING. Never thought William has the initiative to cook…well, I mean majority ‘guys’ doesn’t cooked for themselves, what more to say cooked with their girlfriends…duh!

Supposedly the dinner that we cooked is for both of us. But at last, it came out to be his family having dinner with us. Hahaha…but I think is wonderful!

Having our anniversary’s dinner together with his family, is something different for us. 1st of all, they can taste our cooking, 2nd William’s mom doesn’t need to cook…is her day-off, hahaha…3rd is our 1st time cooked Japanese foods! LOL

Not bad thou…the dinner that we cooked were good. Hehehe…should compliment us!

To me, the important about anniversary is spending times with your love ones. No matter how simple the celebration is as long as both partners are happy and cherish the time being together! And spending your anniversary doesn’t have to be two people. Even with your family members, both can celebrates happily!

Talking about our anniversary’s presents, I actually bought William a watch. Finding a perfect watch for him is kinda difficult. He doesn’t like leather watch or bulky watches coz his hand is slim. And getting a perfect watch for him is really tough. I went all around Mid Valley, at last I found one! I bought him a Casio’s watch and he likes it a lot. Muakz

As for him, he bought me a MP4 and a small coin’s purse.  Well, the MP4 he bought is from Samsung, model T10. So right now, both of us have the same brand of MP4…haha and the small purse is from Radley. He actually bought me a pink color purse… Gosh, he know I doesn’t like ‘pink’ color…but then he still get the ‘pink’ purse for me!

Ok lah, I shouldn’t complained too much, later he will killed me!

Actually I like the pink color purse…hehehe! Yeah, I know, I break the rules…coz I’d mention I DON’T like pink color! Hmm..must be wondering why I don’t like ‘pink’ color, huh? To me, ‘pink’ color is too girlish, too fancy and weak. I actually hated girls which like ‘pink’ color stuff. Don’t ask me why..coz I don’t know why! Hahaha…

Another gift he presented to me…is the most valuable gift that I ever had. He actually composed a song for our anniversary, and sang it to me! Oh..I’m so in love with him!

Anyway, I had a great time with William. Even thou it is our 1st anniversary, the feelings I had are so special and different. I love you William.

Happy Anniversary!

Whei Liang

We have this common favourite if talking about authentic japanese okonomiyaki (pancake). Original Okonomiyaki Hiroshima Style, Lowyat Plaza LG.
Oh ya, LG stands for Lower Ground. People may misunderstood as LG electronic or LG mobile, so just to be clear it is Lower Ground.
Original Okonomiyaki Hiroshima Style

A quote from wiki just in case people dunno what is okonomiyaki.

Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) is a Japanese savoury pancake containing a variety of ingredients. The name is derived from the word okonomi, meaning “what you like” or “what you want”, and yaki meaning “grilled” or “cooked” (cf. yakitori and yakisoba). Okonomiyaki is mainly associated with Kansai or Hiroshima areas of Japan, but is widely available throughout the country. Toppings and batters tend to vary according to region.

So we ordered two okonomiyaki.

TCS AUDITIONS FOR the Broadway Musical TWO FROM GALILEE

Sharon
Since my best friend is in this production. So i would like to help her out on advertised the latest production of TCS.
tfgcover
TCS is a leading choral and performing arts group established in 1992.
If you have seen or heard about their last musical production A Grand Night for Singing at Istana Budaya and like what you have seen or heard and would like to be part of a challenging ensemble, TCS is  holding auditions for the stage musical TWO FROM GALILEE  to be staged in October 2009.  This  dramatic musical which was conceived in the 1990s and has been staged around the world, eventually making it to the Peter Sharpe Theatre, Symphony Space on Broadway; in November 2006.   H.K. Chong and Chin San Sooi serve as Music Director and Artistic Director of this production. There will be 10 principal and sub-principal roles and a chorus and ensemble of 20 to 24.
Interested singers/performers are invited  to apply for an audition. Performers should be competent to sing in their respective voice parts (i.e. SATB) both in standard choral formation as well as in random voice formation. If you do not know what SATB stands for please do not apply. Teamwork and bonding are important even though you may already be considered a soloist.. A high rate of attendance,  commitment, ,discipline and hard work is required irrespective of your prior performing experience  (e.g. Istana Budaya, KLPAC, Lincoln Centre, Covent Garden, La Scala, etc).  Learning and working together is a life long process.  A willingness to learn therefore is important and egos and attitudes are to be left at home.  There is a minimum age requirement  of 21, unless an exception is made. If the foregoing scares you then, you are then not the right material we are looking for.

Before writing in please visit http://thecanticlesingers.servehttp.com/ for more information on our background and to complete the online audition application form. Please take note that all our performers are unpaid.
